Secondary Intelligence
Secondary Intelligence is a vision studio built on one understanding: human intelligence is a downstream emergence of natural intelligence. Nature has been solving problems of energy, communication, collapse, and renewal for four billion years — translating sunlight into structure, signaling wordlessly across entire ecosystems, re-envisioning itself across scales of time our species can barely hold in mind.
Human intelligence is one of the newest expressions of that lineage, and the only one that appears to have forgotten it. The defining problems of our time, societal and ecological, are not stalling for lack of resources or technology. They are failing at the level of remembrance and perception: how we see the world determines how we engage it, and we have forgotten how to see.
This is the frame in which we work.
Through structured, embodied dialogue and original, evolving frameworks, we help organizations remember — taking their most ambitious problem back to its perceptual foundations: how it emerged, how it is seen, what it is assumed to be, what it means — then stress-testing, reshaping, and reframing the perception before the strategy. Clients leave with a new lens, a reframed problem, a new map of meaning.
Strategy, design, and execution all inherit from that.
We work where perception most shapes lived experience: land design and development, the philosophy of social and communal space, the meaning of materials, and the threshold between artificial and natural experience.
